Humanity First Consulting Group grew out of years of partnership with organizations working at the intersection of behavioral health, justice, and public health. What began as AS National Consulting in 2019 quickly became a collaborative effort to help programs move from ideas on paper to real, sustainable impact.

Across strategic planning, grant writing, training, and data analysis, our work has always centered on the people and systems behind the services. We’ve walked alongside teams navigating limited capacity, complex funding requirements, and the pressure to deliver results while staying grounded in their mission. Together, we’ve designed and implemented programs that improve access to care, strengthen life-saving supports, and align services with evidence-based practices.

Humanity First Consulting Group is the next chapter in that shared work. It brings together a network of trusted experts in their field who come to the table rooted in compassion and drive to do good, spanning strategy, behavioral health, legal and compliance, clinical, finance, communications, fundraising, and leadership development and succession planning, so organizations can access the right support at the right time. Our model is simple: people over profits, partnership over transactions, and excellence without unnecessary complexity or cost.

HFCG sees ourselves as an extension of our clients’ teams, helping systems plan, implement, and sustain change in ways that are practical, trauma-informed, and grounded in real-world constraints.
